With many of the standard Ruger American Rifle® features, this new line also combines several design innovations from the popular 10/22® rimfire rifle. This combination, along with the rifle's adaptability, appeals to bolt-action enthusiasts - whether young or old, novice or experienced.

22” barrel; power bedded, free floating, target crowned and hammer forged barrel; 1:16 RH twist; 3/8” rimfire scope base milled into receiver (also drilled and tapped for Weaver # 12 bases);2 interchangeable stock modules for different comb heights for scope or iron sight use; flush mount BX-1 magazine (same as the 10/22…accepts all 10/22 mags); tang and trigger safety; Marksman adjustable trigger (3 – 5#); three lug bolt (60 degree turn); Williams fiber optic front sight and 10/22 V-slot folding rear sight; sling swivel studs.
